What is Linux?                    Linux is an open-source operating system like other operating systems such as Microsoft  Windows , Apple Mac OS, iOS, Google android, etc. An operating system is a    software that enables the communication between computer hardware and software. It conveys input to get processed by the processor and brings output to the hardware to display it. This is the basic function of an operating system. Evolution of Linux OS                  The  Linux OS  was developed by  Linus Torvalds  in  1991 , which sprouted as an idea to improve the UNIX OS. He suggested improvements but was rejected by UNIX designers. Therefore, he thought of launching an OS, designed in a way that could be modified by its users. Nowadays, Linux is the fastest-growing OS. It is used from phones to supercomputers by almost all major hardware devices Free & Open Source Operating System                  Most OS come in a compiled format means the main source code has r

Cybersecurity : A Shield against Ransomware.

Cybersecurity : A Shield against Ransomware.   While technological disruptions and digitisation are a boon to society, the scale and sophistication of cyberattacks is rising and will only continue to surge over the coming years. Moreover, the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic has only added to the escalating cases of cyberattacks across different sectors, given that many small to medium to large scale businesses have adopted digital platforms. According to a 2021 report rolled out by McAfee Enterprise and FireEye, since the COVID-19 outbreak, nearly 81% of the surveyed organizations experienced increased cyber threats, with about 79% of firms witnessing downtime due to incidents during peak season. Meanwhile, the World Economic Forum’s ‘Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2022’ released data that the pandemic led to a record number of cybercrimes with  ransomware attacks  elevating to 151% in 2021. It was claimed that the cost of each cyber breach was about USD 3.6 million to an affected company.

What happens when there’s not enough cloud?

Multicloud may be the answer to the struggle to keep up with the overwhelming demand for cloud resources. The initial promise of the cloud was to make limitless computing resources available to anyone in the world. Since then, one of the primary propellants of cloud has been the “illusion of infinite capacity,” as AWS CEO Adam Selipsky explained recently. Against this backdrop of the infinite, The Information’s Kevin McLaughlin kicked off the new quarter by delving into the reality of “infinite capacity.” Cloud, after all, is just “someone else’s computer,” and that someone is constantly installing real servers in real data centers to ensure that the elasticity of cloud doesn’t break. It’s always been thus. Except not quite, because we’ve hit an inflection point in cloud adoption. The real story, therefore, isn’t about shortage of supply; it’s about the incredible, accelerating abundance of demand. This leads, in turn, to the other big story: If clouds are straining to keep up with vo

Let's beautify!!

"Let's go shopping!!" Now did that excite you?  Um... a big yes  until you think of getting a massive bill . 😂 So basically, the things that add newness and beauty to our lives always freshen us up.  May it be a new dress, some good food😋 or some legit awesome people in your lives.  Now, let's not limit this to ourselves. On a wider note, beautifying or designing the products around us is also exceptionally interesting. UI and UX    designs  are some oddities to achieve the same. UI(User interface design)/UX(User experience design) Now, these two terms are closely associated, just like Jay-Veeru's Jodi in Sholay.   A  UX designer  makes sure that the experience of users after using their company's product (or website) is pleasing and content. The sole motto of UX design is to fabricate ease, effectiveness, efficiency, and relevance of the product to the user.  A  UI designer,  on the other hand, is the interaction of the user with the machine. For example, t
