The Chernobyl Accident 1986

The most horrible thing in the world is science...Yes, it's science if you remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki incidents.
In this mysterious world, everything is made up of atoms and these atoms contain a tremendous amount of energy. This energy is identified by humans and he discovered...Atomic energy. This atomic energy is produced by nuclear power plants which are also named atomic power plants. These plants have turbines that rotate with the help of the energy of atoms and generate electricity.

Our India contains 22 nuclear power plants and more than 440 in the whole world.US have a maximum number of nuclear reactors i.e.95 followed by France 52.

The 26 April 1986 at 01:23 PM disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine was the product of a flawed Soviet reactor design coupled with serious mistakes made by the plant operators. Was a direct consequence of cold war isolation and the resulting lack of any safe culture.
The accident destroyed the Chernobyl reactor, killing 30 operators and firemen within 3 months and several further deaths later. This accident results in the scattering of radioactive dust in many countries like the UK, Poland, Hungary, etc. which caused cancer. The toxicity of that radioactive cloud was 400 times more than that of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki incident. After this incident scientists went to the place to measure radioactivity of the environment around it but the device was showing off-scale i.e. highest limit.

These radioactive particles are present in Chernobyl and around it nowadays too. That's why this area is abandoned and known as RED FOREST. This accident is considered the most dangerous and worst thing that happened in the world.
