Can we crown as 'India - The Superpower Country'?

Is 2020 was the year, India supposed to become a superpower?
Unfortunately, it got left behind.

Always there was hope, if all else failed, the promise of 2020 was there. It offered a target and even offered a plan of action. Through all the ups and downs of the middle years, from 1998, when India 2020: A Vision for the New Millennium was published,  it became a guide to the future. It offered a strong vision that, as 2020 ends, India would be Superpower in two decades but the dream still survives.

Back in 1998, India even could not meet global standards of human development.
Wondering!, how did Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam have such extreme thoughts about India conquering the world? Far from it, in fact, two years then India is not Superpower. Sadly it was an inaccurate prediction, rather year 2020 has been a disaster for India and the whole world.

Is still a chance to take this mission in hands of Indians?
Let's forget about yesterday, think and thought about today!

Is population a problem?
India is on the way to becoming the world's youngest country with 64 percent of its population in the working-age group. but even more unfortunate is that it is not so much unemployability but the lack of skilled manpower. It is not unemployment, but un-employability that leaves the Indian youth frustrated, dejected, and somewhat away from the world. If handled correctly, having tons of fresh minds in our country, We still have a chance!

Is our country haunted by Hunger and poverty?
To add to this gloom were major reports and studies illustrated that being a member of a developed country, still Indians experience some of the worst human development indicators in the world. One of the primary causes of hunger across the nation is widespread poverty. nearly 15% of the population is undernourished. If we protect socialism, invest more in agriculture, shared responsibility for health and nutrition, and ensure food and safety across the country, We still have a chance!

Are there any Political Obstacles?
Being the world’s largest democratic republic has its own challenges, we still have more chaos about politics in each and every minute corner of India. India, being the most diverse country, political polarization is due to more political parties, their different ideology, corruption, mass media but most affected because of casteism and discrimination. we know Politics plays role in the development of any nation but if we people stand united and go hand in hand, We still have a chance!

Is the country lacking in Economic Growth?
Clearly, we have seen, every country in the world came under measures to control pandemics but it would be fair to say no one has seen more chaos like India. India witnessed the horrific sight of millions of migrants heading home on foot in mass migration. Indian economy mostly depends on agriculture and taxes. rather investing in health and education is a priority that has been misplaced a bit over the past few years. This is the solution to most problems and is, unfortunately, the biggest thorn on our side. By boosting this sector, We still have a chance!

Is Infrastructure creating a problem?
India is still below standards about infrastructure and productivity, when we compare it with other superpowers and not catching up with its tune. The government is trying to boost this sector by missions like 'Atmanirbhar Bharat/Make in India ' but it is everyone’s responsibility to not let this movement grow cold. The onset of ambitious projects will lead to quick economic growth, We still have a chance!

India has been making developments in most sectors and we are an up-and-coming country. Yet the title is just out of our grasp, it is a long and challenging road before we reach towards the acclaimed and powerful title of 'world superpower'. The foundation for this should be laid at the root level.

                                        Unity
                                               It starts with you,
                                                         If not you, then who?

The future of India totally depends on what kind of a citizen will you be. A simple act of kindness with a conscious mind can go a long way in our endeavor to create a better India. Not one, there are multiple challenges in front of us but we also need to understand these challenges. If we people don't learn to stand on our own feet, that can drag the country back as well. So step out and make it happen because every good thing begins with 'you', we should think and act as a person of India so nobody can take us there but ourselves only. We are sure that someday or other India will be a Superpower! only when we contribute towards it and make it proud.
