LESS SCROLLING , MORE LIVING

Do you know all social media platforms have one thing in common, what is it? It is the feature of endless scrolling.  The main idea behind this feature is that there is an endless stream of content for the users depending on who they follow or interact with. Various social media apps analyze your past activity. This is how their algorithm works and shows you the content related to your interest.

It’s a fact that almost all of us have experienced the endless loop of scrolling through our social media accounts.

Many individuals have the same routine every day: wake up, check the phone, scroll, read, eat, scroll, watch, scroll, sleep. This kind of routine is very unhealthy for your body but most harmful to your mental health. Watching web series late at night, endlessly using Instagram, Facebook, maintaining snap streak (Is it really important??πŸ˜‚). This is how we are bounded with these things.

Isn’t it true that in the modern world today changing your DP can be more important than changing yourself? Change your DPs, no problem. But do not forget to change yourself because a good life is about a change youπŸ˜ƒ.

Sometimes we are so busy capturing the moment with our smartphone cameras that we may forget to live, experience and enjoy the moment. Photos can occupy the memory on our phones but experience etches the memory in our hearts forever. Live the moment guys............

Nowadays as the pandemic has disrupted our daily lives. In navigating our new normal, another question pops into our minds, “how can we focus and stop our mindless scrolling?”. It’s hard to stay away from your phone when it’s always buzzing with notifications. Turning these will decrease your screen time and make you more productive.

Take ample time off your phone screen by deleting some apps which are constantly disturbing you and keeping your phone out of sight. Although technology has gifted us with many benefits, it also made us hostage by getting us hooked. Life is more than the four corners of your mobile phones. Take time to relish every moment and look at the bigger picture. Whenever you get some free time spend with your family and enjoy every moment instead of always looking into the phone. Because offline is peace of mindπŸ˜‡.
