Creativity in Times of Crisis !!

What we know from history and psychology is that creativity and innovation arise in the time of the crisis. As we know that "Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working."

Covid-19 has been one of the biggest worldwide crises that have shaken the world immensely. According to the experts' predictions, people might have to alter their lifestyles to adapt to this crisis. Having said that, it is important to feed your creative mind and find inspiration during a crisis. But how do you do that? Here, I have shared a few points to make our mindset creative and innovative :)

1. Write down your expectations:

Often, we have many ideas but it becomes hard to narrow them down and get to the starting points. So, what works best is writing down our expectations and thoughts on a piece of paper. It helps us to gain clarity and focus on the target.

2. Don't aim for perfection right away:

We want to be perfect at something from the start. Perfectionism takes a lot of time and practice. Don't be hard on yourself and leave the thing you just started just because you feel you are not good at it.

There are some amazing support groups or online workshops that you can join. Support groups can help you to keep up your creativity by sharing various ideas. Remember, it is never too late to learn a new skill.  So, keep learning and enjoying.

3. Start your day with something positive:

Breaking away from routine life in this time of crisis for finding inspiration is crucial. You can start your day with a good meditation or yoga session. Always keep in mind that "You'll never find a rainbow if you are looking down." So, keep looking up and that's the secret of life.

Doing something positive in the morning can help you stay focused and optimistic throughout the day. This can play a vital role in keeping your creativity levels up. Even the scientific community believes in the power of the mind. So, always keep your view to see the life positive.

4. Making the space to create:

The most important key to embracing the process of real creative growth is to not rush to get things done or figure out everything. Real creative growth happens at its own natural pace, which can't be focused or rushed. Creativity thrives with mental breathing room, wide open inner spaces to roam, and unstructured time to dream and reflect.

So, when you are ready to take some real time and space for yourself, you will definitely allow your creativity and inspiration to naturally arise from the deeper aspects of your being.

So, these have been some points that are used to keep our mindset creative and inspired :)
